Workshop Overview
The October workshop focuses on programming fundamentals. Beginners explore the programmable hub’s LED light matrix, using sequencing and timing to display text, icons, and sounds. They learn how simple programs are structured and how coding can communicate ideas creatively.
Advanced learners develop structured coding skills through algorithms, loops, and debugging. By programming robotic vehicles, they understand how logic controls motion and navigation. Both tracks emphasize the importance of programming efficiency and problem-solving in robotics.
Workshop Overview
The October Technology Workshop will introduce students to the exciting world of machine learning, where computers can be trained to recognize patterns, make predictions, and solve problems. They will explore the two main types of machine learning - supervised learning, where models are trained with labeled examples, and unsupervised learning, where hidden patterns and structures in data are uncovered without labels.
Beginners will gain hands-on practice by grouping objects, spotting patterns, and training simple models, building a strong foundation in how machines “learn.”
